The STAR Certification is a voluntary program that recognizes S&T instructors who are Supportive, Timely, Attentive, and Respectful of students.

To participate, instructors submit a course for review. The course is evaluated using a set of guidelines developed by a committee of faculty and staff. If the course meets these guidelines, the instructor and course are awarded STAR Certification.
