Active Learning in Classroom Environments (ALICE)

Active Learning in Classroom Environments logo

Studies have shown that students learn better when they participate in their own learning. One way for an instructor to facilitate this learning is called Active Learning. Active Learning is not difficult to incorporate in your class.

The Active Learning in Classroom Environments (ALICE) training will introduce different AL techniques you can use the next day. These range from a few minutes to semester-long projects. You will leave with an S&T AL handbook (with over 30 activities), classroom resources, and some activities you can use in your class right away.

Snacks will be provided.

When: Tuesday, September 15 – 1pm-3pm

Where: Library Basement – G11
