A crowd crumple is a fun activity in which students write either a question or a response to a question on a piece of scrap paper. The paper is then crumpled and thrown across the room to another student. The facilitator may want to have a couple of throws
to ensure anonymity. The students then read aloud to the full class or small group the question or response.

Can be combined with Muddiest Point, classroom feedback, or test review. At the end of the activity, have an empty basket to collect all the responses and to review them for patterns.

Students post their questions anonymously to a collaborative tool (Canvas, Padlet). Ask students to review and to respond to others’ questions.

Tip: Be sure to provide clear instructions on maintaining anonymity.
